Last week, I got out my LeapFrog Explorers and let a couple of my struggling special needs students play Jedi Math during their down time.  They LOVED it and I feel like it really helped them cement some basic math concepts.  Does anyone else use educational games like that with their students?  What games work?

Have you ever used any LeapFrog products in your classroom?  Which ones and how?

I personally have a set of Tag Readers and a set of Leapsters that I let the kids use when they finish work early.  They love them!  My kids especially love sitting on the bean bag chairs in the back of class and playing Leapster games in small groups.

I love the idea of using technology (like LeapFrog products) in my classroom, but I'm worried about how to keep my students on-task while they use it.  Have you ever noticed that happening?  What do you do to make sure your students stay engaged on the lesson when they are using technology?
